This is an illustration for the Sudanese revolution that started in 2018 done on Illustrator. It depicts a woman from a photo that went viral where she was leading the chants. Kandaka, meaning a Nubian queen in ancient times, was a term used to refer to the women of the revolution. I illustrated her in place of the Statue of Liberty to represent the revolutions goal.
